We are equestrian vaulters...

What is vaulting?

Vaulting means gymnastics/acrobatics on a galloping horse. Up to three people can be on a horse at the same time. The whole thing is supported by music that is tailored to a specific theme, as is the leotard. For us, the aim is always to feel the horse’s gallop and to make the best possible use of it or to compensate for it. In addition, vaulting is never an individual sport. This means that even in individual vaulting, you always form a team consisting of horse, lunger and vaulter.

What makes us stand out...

We are passionate athletes and vaulters and our community, cohesion and consistency in the sport is unique…

Why are we doing equestrian vaulting...

The special thing about the sport is, of course, the horse component. From a purely sporting point of view, we really enjoy using the power of the horse’s gallop for our exercises or balancing it out. It’s an incredible feeling to run alongside the horse, grab the handles and, with the right technique, be in handstand on the galloping horse within two seconds. It is also the most versatile sport we know. It is not enough to be strong and agile, a sense of rhythm and above all creativity also play an essential role. A certain talent for acting is also helpful in top-class sport.

But it’s not just the sport itself that keeps us in it, but especially the people who practice it.
We can travel in any direction and, in an emergency, we can knock on a friend’s door in the middle of the night and receive a warm welcome…

Our history

Vik Brüsewitz started vaulting in 1998 and soon joined the Pegasus Garbsen vaulting club.
His early successes led him to the first team and to individual vaulting.
His brother Tommy followed him into the sport, trained by Lars Hansen.

After differences within the team, they moved to the equestrian sports association Rittergut Habighorst.
Here they achieved further success under new management.
The brothers won awards in various competitions, including national championships and European championships.

The brothers would like to thank their coaches, horse owners and parents for their support.
Their sporting journey was characterized by hard work, team spirit and a sense of achievement in vaulting.

Our partners

Itzehoer Insurance

What we particularly like about Itzehoer Versicherung is that every customer is helped personally and it is possible to turn to a trusted partner at any time with questions or in the event of a problem.
You are not a number, as with many other insurance companies, and you get the feeling of “together”, just like we love and live it ourselves…

Unser großer Bruder die Itzehoer Versicherung

Böckmann vehicles

Böckmann is our youngest “brother”.
We are currently being generously provided with two horse trailers with all the trimmings.
We find the openness to produce two trailers in our design particularly cool!
When we got to know the managing director Klaus Böckmann, we discovered some great parallels.
In the words of Jessica Lichtenberg (Neuss), we three Brüsewitz brothers are the market leaders in men’s individual vaulting.
Just like Böckmann Fahrzeugwerke GmbH in Germany.
The brand is also carried around the world by the four Böckmann brothers.
Whether in breeding, competitive sport or the vehicle factories, the recipe for success lies in the family roots, just like in our brotherhood!
